TIBERIAN DAWN
NOD UNITS

Minigun Infantry Minigun Infantry - Cost: $100
The Minigunner is the main GDI infantry unit, and is the best all round infantry unit available. They can be built quickly and cheaply, and can inflict a reasonable amount of damage en mass considering their low cost.

Engineer Engineer - Cost: $500
Engineers are unarmed infantry units, but offer a wide array of strategic options in battle. One engineer has the potential to cause extreme damage to an enemy building and bring it under your control, they can also repair your own buildings by entering them, and restoring them to full health.
3 Engineers are required to fully capture an enemy structure; 1 to damage it, 2 to bring it under your control and the 3rd to repair it.

Rocketeer Rocketeer - Cost: $300
The GDI Rocketeer carries shoulder mounted rocket launcher that is very effective against vehicles, structures, infantry and aircraft. Because of the increased weight of the rocket launcher, rocket infantry are slower than mingunners but are more heavily armoured.

Flamethrower Infantry Flamethrower Infantry - Cost: $300
The slowest infantry class, but the most deadly against infantry. Infantry catch fire when burned with the flame and continue to burn even when the flamer is no longer firing. The Flame Infantry carries a large tank of flamable material which is used to power their flamethrower weapon, however these flammable chemicals tend to cause an explosion when Flame Infantry are killed.

Chem Warrior Chem Warrior - Cost: $300
The Chem Warrior is armed with a chemical spray weapon which emits a cloud of toxic Tiberium Gas. The gas is engineered to be lethal to all those who inhale it, and as a result the Chem Warrior can decimate lines of troops with little effort. Because the gas is lethal to the unit itself, he has a protection suit which renders it immune to all effects of Tiberium, but also makes him very slow.

Commando Commando - Cost: $1000
The commando is the ultimate unit, and is the most versatile GDI infantry unit. His main weapon is ineffective against tanks, but kills enemy infantry units from extreme range. He also has the ability to plant C4 charges on enemy structures which levels them in seconds!

Recon Bike Recon Bike - Cost: $500
Primarily used as a scouting unit, the Recon Bike is Nod's fastest ground unit. Although it trades armour for speed, the bike is capable os sustaining moderate damage before before being destroyed. It carries twin rocket launchers capable of hitting both air and ground units.

Buggy Buggy - Cost: $800
Designed for hit and run tactics, as well as recon, the Buggy sacrifices armour for speed. But it is not completely without merit. The speed means you can run over infantry. It's mounted machine gun means that it can take out infantry, but nothing else.

Light Tank Light Tank - Cost: $600
The fastest tank class in existence, it sacrifices armour and firepower for speed. It really has the same advantages as the Buggy, but can be used for hit and run tactics against heavier vehicles and structures. The great advantage over something like the GDI Mammoth Tank is that you can shoot, retreat, shoot retreat gradually wearing away at it.

Mobile Artillery Mobile Artillery - Cost: $450
The Artillery fires shells at long range, they are deadly against everything, but designed for use against buildings out of range of the defences. So what are the weaknesses? Well, there's some slow speed and light armour to help those allied infidels kill you, so you'll need to be carefull..

Surface-To-Surface Missile Launcher (SSM) Surface-To-Surface Missile Launcher (SSM) - Cost: $750
What has to be the longest range weapon on the battlefield. It's 'Honest John' missiles contain Napalm which can devistate enemy infantry and structures from distances exceding those of the Artillery! However, it also has the longest reload time of any unit on the battlefield, making it vunerable for long periods of time.

Flame Tank Flame Tank - Cost: $800
The tank itself is quite lightly armoured, but the wallop it punches sure isn't! Take some caterpillar tracks, stick two huge flamethrowers on a turret, stick the turret on the tracks, and what do you get? The Flame Tank! That's basically what it is!
The jets of flame are so hot, they easily burn infantry, and can melt metal up to 8 inches thick! So it's pretty darn effective against everything! As an added bonus, infantry will continue to burn even after they've got out of the flame. Unfortunately, the armour (as I've said before) is light and the range of the streams of super heated flame is limited.

Stealth Tank Stealth Tank - Cost: $900
The Stealth Tank is not dissimilar to the light tank, in that it's fast and lightly armoured, but there are some crucial differences.
The most noticeable one being that if fires rockets instead of shells, the second (and least noticeable - at least to your enemies) is that it can cloak! It will remain invisible until it either gets too close to an enemy vehicle or infantry, or fires, but by then it's probably too late for them to do anything anyway.

Tiberium Harvester Tiberium Harvester - Cost: $1400
The Harvester is your main source of collecting resources to turn into money to enable you to purchase structures and units to defeat your opponent. It collects Tiberium and brings it back to the Refinery where it is converted into money. When travelling to and from the Tiberium it moves slowly, but it is heavily armoured. They are easy target for enemy commanders so they should always be escorted.

Apache Attack Helicopter Apache Attack Helicopter - Cost: $1200
Excellent against infantry and lightly armoured vehicles with its high velocity machine gun. The Apache is the latest generation of combat helicopters, it can pester enemy units for the length of the battlefield constantly waring away at them.

Transport Helicopter Transport Helicopter - Cost: $1500
As the name suggests, the Chinook Transport Helicopter is able to transport 5 infantry units anywhere on the map quickly. It has the added advantage of being able to take engineers or tactical strike teams into the heart of an enemy's base without having to go through ground defences.

Mobile Construction Vehicle (MCV) Mobile Construction Vehicle (MCV) - Cost: $3000
The MCV is the most important ground unit at the start of any game, as it forms the heart of your base, and allows you to produce structures and defences. If you lose your only MCV in battle, then you can no longer expand your base, and so every building you lose you cannot replace, unless you build another MCV, which are very expensive.
