Support Crawler Support Crawler
The Crawler is the most important unit at the start of any game, as it forms the heart of presence on the battlefield, and allows you to produce units. The Crawler replaces the MCV seen in previous wars to meet the needs of defending the global Tiberium Control Network, they can quickly be deployed from orbit anywhere in the world and used to produce units whilst on the move. When deployed units held on board will be released and a repair facility made available. If you lose your Crawler in battle then a replacement can be re-deployed to a suitable safe zone, however there is a delay in doing so.
Mobile Steath Generator Mobile Steath Generator
Equips the Crawler with a stealth generator capable of hiding the entire structure from view at all times, even when on the move.
Charged Capacitors Charged Capacitors
Deploying a support power is a huge enemy drain on the Crawler's power cells, by adding further high-capacity capacitors Support Points can be gained more quickly, allowing further powers to be deployed onto the battlefield.

Engineer

Engineer
Engineers are unarmed infantry units, but offer a wide array of strategic options in battle. One engineer has the potential to repair ground units and infantry, they can also be ordered to escort a particular unit healing them if necessary. It is always beneficial to have at least one at the back of an assault force. They are also equipped with mine and stealth detection sensors while their jetpacks enable even vertical cliffs to be traversed with ease.

Designed for hit and run tactics as well as recon, the Marauder Buggy sacrifices armour for speed. But it is not completely without merit; the speed means you can get to Tiberium crystals first. It's machine gun weapon type means that it can take out infantry, but little else.

Upgrades the targeting systems so that the Marauder can see further into unexplored territory and fire at enemy targets from greater range.
Speed Boost Speed Boost
This upgrade performs an on-battlefield upgrade of the propulsion systems of the Marauder granting them increased movement speed.
Refire Boost Refire Boost
Upgrades the ammunition feeder allowing a shorter reload time, and therefore can deal greater damage in a shorter time.

Scalpel

The Scalpel is an airborne unmanned repair drone. Its sole purpose on the battlefield is to undo the damage inflicted on friendly units without the need to return to the Crawler.

This upgrade performs an on-battlefield upgrade of the propulsion systems of the Scalpel granting them increased movement speed.
Range Boost Range Boost
Upgrades the targeting systems so that the Marauder can see further into unexplored territory and fire at enemy targets from greater range.
Infusion Engine Infusion Engine
Although the Scalpel is unarmed, this upgrade increases the damage done by the weapons of nearby friendly units.

The Venom ended the GDI's dominance of the skies in the Third Tiberium War and returns this time round more powerful than ever. Its traditional role as a light VTOL aircraft remains, but in order to keep pace with GDIs massive Orca development program the gattling cannons have been replaced with rocket pods.

This upgrade performs an on-battlefield upgrade of the propulsion systems of the Marauder granting them increased movement speed.

Purchasing this on-crawler upgrade equips the Venom with a higher grade of missiles boasting an improved heat-seeking target tracking system, vastly increasing the amount of ordinance that will hit its target.

Cobra

The Cobra's cannon weapon is effective against armoured land-based units, as a result, the heavier weaponry is only capable of targeting ground units leaving it vulnerable to aerial attacks.

This upgrade performs an on-battlefield upgrade of the propulsion systems of the Cobra granting them increased movement speed.

Vertigo

The Vertigo is Nod's bomber aircraft. Few structures can withstand more than 3 salvos, not that your enemy would see them coming due to its stealth generators, however its light armour does render it vulnerable to enemy anti-air fire...if you can see it. The standard loadout can be replaced with fire bombs, capable of scorching the earth and igniting any hapless enemy beneath. If multiple fires overlap the fuel causes super combustion causing even more damage.

Salamander

Following the success of the fledgling airforce in the Third War Nod separatist commanders have continued with the development of aircraft, this research has culminated in the Salamander. This sleek aircraft is equipped with four independent directional rocket pods, each capable of targeting a different unit on different sides of the unit. For ultimate devastation, position the Salamander in the middle of enemy forces and unleash four simultaneous barrages. Furthermore the alternate fire mode deploys downward ducts which emit a scorching fireball similar to the Vertigo bomber.

Tyrant

Its front facing blades allow it to burrow underground and appear without warning amongst enemy forces. Furthermore, it's Voice of Kane ability broadcasts inspirational messages to nearby units, strengthening their resolve and increasing their rate of fire.

The effectiveness of the Venom's Laser Capacitor upgrade in the Third War did not go unnoticed by the Nod High Council, so an aircraft has been designed to house an enhanced version of this technology. Based on the laser refractors from the Obelisk of Light it is capable of penetrating the toughest armour from the skies. Furthermore it has the ability to project a Stasis Field.
Spectrum Beam Spectrum Beam
Replaces the standard laser refractor with an enhanced prism which allows the laser weapon to hit multiple targets with a single shot.

Hijacker

The Mutant Hijacker is one of the few Forgotten that Nod deemed valuable enough to induct into its ranks. They have the ability to commandeer any vehicle on the battlefield. Once a vehicle can be stolen the Hijacker cannot be removed from the vehicle until the vehicle is destroyed. When it is, he pops out and is able to steal another vehicle. Furthermore enemy units nearby will find their targeting systems scrambled, reducing their accuracy.

This upgrade performs an on-battlefield upgrade of the propulsion systems of the Spanner granting them increased movement speed.
Data Worm Data Worm
The Hijacker can infect enemy units with a virus attacking the advanced weapons systems of the GDI units, causing them to overload and quite literally explode! Furthermore this virus can then spread via the short range wireless communication system, infecting nearby units.

Leviathan

The Leviathan is the ultimate airborne artillery unit!
Hangar Bays Hangar Bays
This upgrade does exactly that, deploys small drones equipped with a gun weapon. This means the Leviathan becomes effective against two armour types, making it doubly deadly.

Medusa

This aircraft is equipped with the same technology as the Engineer's repair weapon. It is regarded by Nod soldiers as the angel of the battlefield, descending from upon high to provide healing in the midst of battle. It will automatically heal all nearby friendly units; both air and ground based, it should accompany any aerial assault. Furthermore its attack can reduce the speed and dodge of enemy units by scrambling their navigation systems.

Scientific developments since the unit's invention mean that the effectiveness of all abilities can be improved; increasing the radius and effectiveness.
